  • The Returning  (1999)  SATB/P  with an alto soloist;     remembering  our departed loved ones  at Christmas time with both joy and sorrow, a sacred text by renowned Canadian poet, author, and linguist Watson Kirkconnell, who taught at universities in Manitoba and Ontario, and then served as President of Acadia University in Nova Scotia, 1948-1964.

Inkster, life-long educator and church musician, who served his own congregation St. John’s United Church in Alliston Ontario for over fifty years. He pastored many church musicians, encouraging fledglings and nurturing the weary and discouraged, always urging the pursuit of greater musical excellence and greater understanding. He served with love, and we will miss him.
